Statement of Quality Assurance :
At Morris Home Care we understand that customers have the option of
choosing from a long list of health care providers serving our area.
The provision of health care services in one’s home demands special
attention to the need for care that is delivered :
- in the safest manner
- with the utmost professionalism,
compassion, and skill
- by reliable and responsive staff
both in the office and the field
- with the knowledge and understanding
of the difficulties that the problems of aging, disability, and
interruption of good health present to clients and families.
Our investment in activities that assure
our commitment to providing that kind of care are evidenced by our
licensure, accreditations, nursing assessment and ongoing supervision
of employees and clients.
Morris Home Care is licensed as a Health Care Services Firm by the
State of New Jersey through the Division of Consumer Affairs. We are
accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Home Care and
undergo annual on-site surveys by that body.
The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations
conducts a rigorous survey every three years and requires the agency
to self-review at mid-point to assure compliance with the high
standards of care set forth by that organization. Survey results are
public information.
Our Performance Improvement Activities include gathering performance
data from Patient Satisfaction Surveys, Referral Source Satisfaction
Surveys, employee Opportunity for Improvement suggestions, and
continually assessing staff competency and training programs.
All staff providing personal care services are certified as home
health aides /homemakers by the New Jersey Board of Nursing, having
successfully completed the required course of study, and criminal
background check.
